I do not know anyone who personally uses google voice. However, I keep searching eBay for a google voice account with my area code. I cannot afford to pay $250 for a brand new invite on eBay. I have this feeling that as soon as I pay for an invite, the google voice service will allow me to get an invite for free and my money will have gone to waste.
Anyone on the fence about buying an invite? I wish i had the right connections...
