New house, Bad wiring

I had to rewire a 2 year old house. It was a model home by Pulte. This is a million dollar home in Yorba Linda, CA. It was probably a multi million dollar home 2 years ago. Yet, for all the money that was paid to build this house, the builders could not take the 2 minutes to wire the data jacks.

The home was supposed to be wired with data and phone jacks. I do not know the exact cost but I believe the fee is up to 10 grand to wire a house with phone and data. The phone jacks were wired correctly. (It is fairly obvious to the new home owner if the wiring was done incorrectly as the phones are usually used daily.) The data jacks however, I should be thankful they were not messed up more then they were. I do not know why I get surprised anymore by how bad the wiring in new homes is. It is almost always the rule and not the exception.

If anyone from Pulte is reading this, the data jacks need to have 2 pairs of wires minimum. (MINIMUM)

I ended up moving heavy furniture and crouching in awkward positions to rewire the jacks. Thanks....
